I've been doing cardio, weights, and wushu fairly regularly the past couple months. This past week I added a night of boxing and a night of gymnastics. The boxing class is very heavy on the conditioning - my abs and shoulders are still sore four days after the boxing class. The gymnastics class gave the rest of my torso a fairly decent working over.
When training I think it is important to keep shocking your body and adding new and different workouts to the mix really seems to do that. You would think that 6 hours of wushu a week would prepare me for a couple hours of boxing -- but it didn't. Not even a little bit.
What will I add next? Well, I haven't been rock climbing in over a year and the weather is almost warm enough to go hiking and swimming.
