Have you ever worked out so hard you felt drunk afterward? More likely it was just how dehydrated I was because I know I've trained harder (wushu in Shanghai).
It was a yoga class at Kula Yoga around the corner from my apartment. So much more intense than any gym yoga class I've tried in the past. Not sure if it is this particular school (I will try a few others in the neighborhood) or if it is generally the case that yoga at a yoga studio is so much more intense than yoga at a gym. A little bit bored by yoga in the past I was pleasantly surprised to be so thoroughly worked over.
At first I was a little put off by the incense and the chanting -- I just wanted a workout. After class I was past all that. My muscles felt great. I was looking forward to the two remaining classes in my intro membership.
