While I love walking the streets of Manhattan -- I seem to discover something new every time I set out -- sometimes I just need to get where I am going a little quicker. So I bought a bicycle. An old orange Zebrakenko 10 speed with pink toe clips. I picked it up at Busy Bee Bikes on E6th St just off Ave A.

For my first real ride I decided to head to New Jersey. Actually, I wanted to ride all the way to IKEA but after an hour and a half of riding I got stuck at the Newark Bay Bridge which didn't appear to allow cyclists; so I had to turn back.
