I read about the Kitchen Club in Time Out and its description of the food and decor had me curious. Arlene was looking to have dinner tonight so it was a perfect excuse to check it out.
The restaurant is in SoHo. And the first thing I loved about it were its martinis, especially the saketini garnished with a leaf. The food was also excellent: dumplings and asparagus wrapped in bacon (I think they even called it a sushi roll??!?).
