Not sure where I was introduced to it but I've always been attracted to the game of Go. I figure there are probably three reasons I'm drawn to it. One, unlike chess, there isn't a computer program that can play at even an intermediate level. Two, the rules are very simple yet the game is very complex. And lastly, a game of Go strongly resembles a cellular automata simulation being played out in real life.
So, I am now trying to learn how to play.
I have the book "Learn to Play Go" by Janice Kim and Jeong Soo-hym. And I downloaded the very nice Goban for Mac OS X.
