Tonight after my workout in the hotel gym where there was an elderly Chinese man walking on the treadmill while listening to the local asian channel at an impossibly loud volume I went to a Japanese restaurant called Nijo Sushi Bar & Grill.

For three reasons it is now my favorite sushi restaurant.

1. $4 martinis
2. best roll ever: "lobster roll" - just like a prawn tempra roll but with lobster instead
3. kurosawa films playing on the TV above the bar and projected onto the wall

Past few days in Seattle have been pretty crazy. After walking the entire Sunday I developed a weird pain in my right knee. Now hurts to walk at all. Then yesterday my iMac dies. And today I find out I have to wait another couple days for my clothes to arrive. I've been recycling the same two pairs of jeans and the same for tshirts since Friday.
